Reloop has a new pair of headphones in its range, the Reloop RHP-30s. The new flagship in Reloop’s headphone line-up, the RHP-30 design boasts quality metal/rubber construction, a smart and modern look, and a high level of comfort. Of particular note are the extraordinarily comfortable leather ear-pads, which are deep and luxurious. We loved the way they isolated background noise while not subjecting the wearer to “head clamp”, as is often the case with DJ headphones.
Due to that superior isolation, we were able to accurately assess the sound quality even on a busy and deafening show floor (Ortofon was doing what appeared to be a sub-bass demo mere metres away from us), and we found the RHP-30s to be clear-sounding, with decent bass and convincing highs. The headband, hinges and driver housings on the RHP-30s are of superior construction, with a predominance of metal and rubber adding to both the feeling of quality and the structural strength of the ‘phones.
Overall, the Reloop RHP-30s are immediately one of our favourite headphones out there for DJs: Smart to look at, well made, extremely comfortable and great sounding. We’ll obviously give them a proper assessment when we can get our hands on a review sample, but first impressions suggest Reloop has a winner on its hands here.
