You may remember a Tidal music streaming service outage on Denon DJ’s Engine OS-equipped DJ gear a few weeks back. The companies corrected the issue pretty quickly, but it looks like they’re about to roll out a more permanent raft of fixes/improvements to the integration.

That does mean, however, that users of Denon DJ’s Engine-OS equipped gear (Prime GO, Prime 2, Prime 4, SC5000, SC6000) need to update their firmware to 1.6.2.
If you haven’t done this before it’s quite easy to do, but if you don’t, your Tidal integration will stop working after a (non-specified) grace period.
What to do
You’ll need to head over to Denon DJ’s downloads page, grab the latest firmware, then follow the instructions to install it.
