Fans of AIAIAI’s TMA-2 modular headphone system will be interested to hear about the latest special release of the phones, co-branded with Deviation, the club brand of Benji B from the UK’s Radio 1.
Packaged in a unique hard lighting-style case, the limited run includes both an on-ear and an over-ear set of pads, making them equally at home in the studio as in the DJ booth. They also come with a custom cable and a Deviation-branded carrying pouch.
Much like the Sennheiser HD-25s and the recent Pioneer HDJ-S7s, this style of modular, on-ear headphone is preferred by many DJs due to its durability and the ease of replacing parts should they wear out or break. But as this special release also offers the over-ear pads, they steal an edge over the competition in out-of-the-box flexibility.
The headphones cost £220 and are available from 29 May exclusively on AIAIAI’s website.
