Lesson notes

Every DJ fears things going wrong when they’re playing. Although this happens less than you might imagine, obviously when it does happen – it’s a big deal.

We asked our audience about what they do when things go wrong in their DJing and had hundreds of replies. And so this live show was a chance to sift through some of them and look at a few of the more serious (and less serious!) replies, but also to offer some advice about what to do should these kind of things happen to you.

I share a story about a time when half of the amplifiers stopped working in a club I was DJing in, and I can guarantee that there’s going to be something you hear in this show that won’t have occurred to you as a way of keeping the music playing when disaster strikes.

It was a lot of fun and great to see so many community members sharing their stories and how they’ve dealt with them. I hope you enjoy it.
