Hercules has just launched the DJControl Inpulse 300 Mk2, an improved version of its entry-level controller, which now works with Serato as well as the included DJUCED DJ app.
The DJControl Inpulse 300 Mk2 works out of the box with Serato DJ Lite, giving DJs all the latest features of that software including access to real-time stems (instrumental and acapella separation). Hercules says that the Inpulse 300 Mk2 also features better jogwheels, improved rubber performance pads, and a more premium look.
Focused on beginners
Hercules aims its products at beginner DJs, and so as with some of its other controllers, this unit has a “Beatmatch Guide” feature, with “light guides built directly into the controller to help users learn the proper moves and manually sync and cue up tracks.”

The DJControl Inpulse 300 Mk2 will be available as of the end of this month, with a street price of $/£/€199. Note that users who wish to upgrade the Serato integration to Serato DJ Pro will need to buy or subscribe separately to that software. More info from the Hercules website.
