KRK has announced it has added new 7″ and 8″ models to its Classic speaker line-up, the range that draws from the iconic Rokit monitors so beloved by DJs over the years, but at a more affordable price.
We’ve reviewed the KRK Classic 5 here, and this is very much business as usual but with the bigger cone sizes and power outputs. So you get bi-amped Class A/B amplifiers, built in limiter, high and low frequency controls, and your choice of XLR, 1/4″ and RCA inputs.
Like the smaller models, the Classic 7 and the Classic 8 feature bass ports on the front, and a thin foam pad attached to the underside to help cushion the speakers when placed on hard surfaces.
Info on power output, price and availability was not available at the time of going to press.
