Louder, Longer-Lasting Minirig 3 Portable Speaker Launched

Minirig has just announced the Minirig 3, a brand new model in its line of portable Bluetooth speakers. It packs a custom 70mm speaker driver, has a 40W amp, comes in seven different colours and can run for up to 100 hours on a single charge. It can connect to your playback device via Bluetooth or using a wired connection thanks to its 1/8″ jack – you can also link up multiple Minirig 3s wirelessly for an even louder sound system or if you want to create a stereo pair. If your smartphone is running out of juice, you can even charge it by plugging it into the Minirig 3.

We’ve always loved Minirig speakers – we’ve reviewed almost every single speaker model that came out. Having Bluetooth onboard means it’s an awesome companion on road trips and holidays, and having an 1/8″ jack lets you use it for DJ practice sessions or spinning at house parties and barbecues. We’re almost sure that Minirig 3 will be solid given its pedigree, but as always we’ll hold judgment up until we’ve had actual hands-on time with it, so watch out for our review very soon.
