Denon has announced the Denon MC4000 DJ Controller at NAMM 2015, a brand new controller for Serato DJ, and its first brand new DJ product since the company was taken over by Numark’s owner, inMusic, last year.
The Denon MC4000, according to the official announcement via Serato, features “precision touch-activated jogwheels, dedicated hot-cue and sample trigger pads with illuminated feedback, 100mm pitch faders and dedicated EQ and FX controls on each channel. All of this in a new control layout for effortless use with Serato DJ Intro and Serato DJ.”
The product comes with Serato DJ Intro, and appears to come in Denon’s trademark high quality metal skin, although other elements, such as the jogwheels, do appear to have taken the lead from Numark.
• At this stage we don’t have pricing and availability but will bring them to you as soon as we do. Meanwhile, find out more over on the Serato website and check out our talkthrough video.
