Pioneer DJ just announced a limited edition white colourway for its new DDJ-1000SRT four-channel controller for Serato DJ Pro. Released just this past month, the DDJ-1000SRT has full-sized CDJ-style mechanical jogwheels onboard, onboard displays in the centres of the jogs, and a standalone mixer with Beat FX and Sound Color FX. It also works with Serato DVS so you can plug in a pair of turntables and spin with timecode vinyl.
We’ve already reviewed the DDJ-1000SRT and while we think the onboard displays are a bit watered down compared to what you find on the original DDJ-1000 for Rekordbox DJ, it’s still a solid controller for Serato DJ, and one that will be popular with club and pro DJs looking for a controller that provides the closest experience to spinning with a CDJ/DJM set-up and Serato DJ.
