Pioneer DJ just announced the DM-40-W, which is a white version of its DM-40 desktop studio monitor speakers. The DM-40-W features the same 4″ woofer and 3/4″ tweeter as the original DM-40, along with the RCA and 1/8″ jack inputs in the back, and volume knob and headphone jack in the front.
If space and money are your main issues (and they normally are when it comes to bedroom set-ups), compact speakers like these are a cost-effective, space-saving solution when hefty PA or studio monitors are out of your budget. These are small enough to fit on top of your desk, and won’t break the bank at under US$170 a pair.
• The Pioneer DJ DM-40-W are available from September 2016 for US$169 a pair. Check the Pioneer DJ website for more details.
