Aimed at mobile DJs and also suitable for smaller venues, Pioneer DJ’s new XPRS2 speaker series has just been launched. Comprising full-range speakers and floor sub units, the new speaker range boasts class D amplification, plywood cabinets, carrying handles and rubber feet for isolation.
The full-range speakers have four DSP (digital signal processor) modes that can be switched through quickly (Live, Music, Speech and Floor Monitor), plus 16 customisable DSP modes so you can tweak EQ settings for different venues, set-ups etc. Meanwhile, the subwoofers have three DSP modes.

The full-range speakers are available in 10″ and 12″ sizes both at 2000W each, while the subs are 15″ and 18″ with 4000W amplification. Prices start at $800 for the smallest full-range cabinet up to $1300 for the largest sub, and they’re available now.
