Reloop has just announced the RMX10BT, a basic two-channel DJ mixer with Bluetooth connectivity built in.
The mixer has three-band EQs and gains for each channel, a replaceable crossfader, master and record outputs, 1/4″ headphone and mic jacks, and inputs for two line sources and two phono. Bluetooth can be routed to either channel.
Being such a compact mixer though, it does lack some commonly expected features nowadays such as channel filters, channel output meters, and an 1/8″ headphone jack socket.
The mixer would be useful in a basic home or very small venue DJ set-up where the user also wants to stream either tracks from devices in to a DJ set, or just have a Bluetooth source such as a smartphone or tablet running as background music when there is no DJ playing. One for mobile DJ jocks who need that kind of wireless playback capability in their rig without spending big.
• The Reloop RMX10BT is available December 2019 at €120 / US$130 / £100. More on Reloop’s website.
