Roland appear keen to get involved in the burgeoning turntable market with the TT-99. Like the DJ-99 Battle Mixer, it’s released to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the TR-909 drum machine with a cool paint job to match that iconic machine. Design wise, there are no surprises – it’s a direct drive turntable following the familiar lines of a Technics 1210 with a curved tonearm and long throw pitch fader.
